Wet Weather Function

The Integrated Living Water System is designed to dilate in the case of a storm, with small scale retrofits, waterways, strategic parklands, and wetlands that can fill with thousands of acre feet of stormwater. By slowing and storing stormwater in designated areas so that it can be absorbed by the ground and repurposed for irrigation and other uses, the system reduces the load on existing drainage systems and flood risk for every neighborhood in the region.
